Maple Leaf Academy

Negative experience: Is this academy closed now? I've tried calling them many times at different times, but no one answers! No one is picking up the phone. I think this school is permanently closed now!

Negative experience: Useless, i asked them if they have english courses for kids, they don't have it.

Negative experience: I had my exam there but the staff was not very helpful, they got us seated in the centre an hour before the start and I had to use the bathroom in emergency which I was not allowed to do, I agree and understand all the rules, but sitting there an hour before the actual exam because they were slow at the process was not my fault, if I had to use the bathroom I had to do that but as they didn’t let me it messed up my listening session.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at Maple Leaf Academy! I took my exam on 26th July and got my result today — I’m so happy to achieve my desired band. The staff were very polite, cooperative, and supportive throughout the process. A special thanks to Arshdeep Singh Sir for the speaking test — he has a very nice way of talking and made me feel comfortable. The seating area was good, and the listening headsets worked perfectly. Overall, an excellent experience. Thank you to the whole team!

Fantastic experience: I’ve completed my term at Maple Leaf Academy, and it has been an incredible experience. Not only have I improved my language skills, but I’ve also learned so much about Canadian culture and holidays. I’m truly proud of the manager, all the teachers, and the wonderful receptionists who made me feel comfortable and welcomed every day. Negative experience: The attitude towards creating a comfortable learning environment is extremely poor. The classrooms are very stuffy, the windows do not open, and the ventilation system does not work. After just one hour of classes in a cramped room, everyone is breathing in carbon dioxide. The staff doesn't seem to care. It is crucial for the school administration to take this matter seriously and take immediate steps to improve the situation. The installation of an effective ventilation system or fixing the current one should be a priority. Additionally, they should prioritize students' health and comfort by ensuring that the classrooms are adequately ventilated, and the windows can open. In conclusion, it is unacceptable to ignore the basic needs of students when it comes to creating a conducive learning environment. The school administration needs to be proactive and prioritize the health and well-being of their students and staff.

Fantastic experience: My wife study English here, it had been great for her, Canadian teachers, English test to check the correct level, discounts according the amount of weeks you want, and good prices

Negative experience: Dont waste your time here at this academy. I joined them early this year. Even though ILVARC gave me Level 5, Maple Leaf said they wont accept that and they start every student from Level 4. And we thinking they are know what they are talking about said yes to starting from level 4. After one year in the course and moving up the level, Immigration decides to pull the plug on the funding for this academy ( i wonder why), and now they are giving level 4 certificate for level 5 grads. Bottom line we wasted one year at this academy and we are below where we started, and now we have to start all the way over again. Stay far away from this organization and go join something which is more recognized like Bow Valley. Edit: LOL nice job from the owners trying to keep changing the response to my 3 year old review (this is their 2nd or 3rd change to their response). Before you respond back you should check your records? I did study for a year at your academy, you did have classes till level 6 and all of a sudden IRCC pulled your funding 3 years back for above level 4 (probably they knew the quality coming out of your academy wasn't upto their standards? idk?) And another thing might really help your academy is, rather than accusing every bad review of being misinformed blah blah blah, probably listen to negative reviews and try to do better next time?

Negative experience: I got my IELS exam there it was one of the worst experience I have, there is a woman has non experience with customer service they have to choose better person to deals with customers, and the proctor of the exam was very rude when she was give the instructions

Negative experience: Maple leaf school Downton is worst go to that school. When I went to that school was very old version of education material to teach and teachers was not be able to teach the right version of education or give someone right passing marks. Even they talked about something benchmark which I didn't understand where I can go years to years that school to get right benchmark. Eventually I went to other school where I got Diploma within one year. One teacher kept something inside my bag and I didn't noticed that was from this teacher . So strange what I can learn from that type of teachers? Looks so suspicious and dangerous. Those people were adding something into my water bottle and I have headic whenever I drink that water. I didn't know those people were tortured me. They interfered in my personal life and made mess. Mean living in Canada or calgay is the worst decision ever. That was my worst experience to go to that school. It is better to not go to that school or check before. Matter of the EDUCATION .

Positive experience: Most teachers are very good,except Aurora she hates teaching only binder organizing every day one and half hour in the evening class and Saturday class.

Negative experience: This school sucks. No hot water for students and no microwave for students to warm the lunch.
