The first thing I noticed when I contacted him was that he is a dedicated teacher and very responsive to my questions. I already had basic French knowledge (A1), but I was a bit rusty since I hadn’t studied for the past year. I enrolled in the A2 level classes with Mr. Mohsen, and he immediately gave me access to offline materials, including notes and recordings of his previous classes. This was very helpful for reviewing before starting the actual classes. He has an excellent approach to integrating new students into the class, which is a great plus. I can already feel that I am improving a lot in reading and speaking in particular after only a month of studying with Mohsen. I am on my way to reaching the B2 level as soon as possible, which I hope will take 6 to 8 months. Of course, this largely depends on personal dedication and effort (Mohsen usually insists on 2-3 hours daily study to fast-track), but I feel fully supported by the teacher! As Mohsen mentions several times during the sessions, the material’s delivery depends on the student’s involvement. However, he provides excellent resources for grammar, vocabulary, and even his own podcasts from class. Highly recommended! I wrote down everything—even the class conversations—just to make sure I didn’t miss anything. Some sessions include presentations on exam-related topics like politics, industry, & art, which really helped expand my vocabulary. Grammar is clearly explained, and special verbs are neatly categorized. Even complex topics like ''imparfait'' & ''passé composé'' are taught through French animations and of course POEMS, making them easy to grasp & making the learning process more enjoyable & memorable. Everything is designed in the simplest & most effective way to help you truly learn French. I could speak well after A2—but only because I worked hard. If you don’t try, you won’t progress. I was a student at McGill, and after finishing my studies, I realized that getting a B2 level in French would be the best next step for me. Because of my personal situation, I only had a few months to achieve this score on the TCF Canada exam. I started searching rigorously for teachers and, unfortunately, had very bad experiences. One teacher, for example, claimed to be a professional but turned out to be just a translator. Before starting Mr. Rostami’s classes, I had already lost a lot of time and money and was very skeptical. But I told myself this would be my last try — and I’m glad I did. It turned out to be a great decision. I paid an affordable price, got access to recordings of his previous classes (it was a promotion at the time), and built a solid foundation in French. After that, I continued studying on my own and eventually got a B2 in all sections of the TCF Canada exam after 2 months! I'm so happy I trusted him, and I highly recommend his group classes. Participating in the online class gave me the opportunity to understand sentence structure and also take part in exercises which are corrected by Monsieur Rostami who is very patient and explains everything in great detail. The classes are really structured and guided me from the basics of verb conjugation all the way up. Online classes are also recorded which makes it easy to playback in my free (video or audio). The offline service also granted me access to additional materials and classes which took place in earlier sessions. Expérience fantastique: It had been a while that I was struggling with learning French and I was almost always panicked thinking about the TEF exam and I was postponing it each time I was attempting to pass it. Until I got to know College 2b and Mr. Rostami. I called and I talked directly to Mr. Rostami asking help & consultations. He suggested me to purchase College 2b’s Offline packages for the General French as well as the “Preparation for TEF” kit. I did so and right after almost 2-3 months I contacted him again and I took one individual classe (1O1) with him. All this was more than enough for me to have the needed courage to register for the TEF exam and to get my desired note. As the spouse of the main applicant in PEQ Immigration program (Under Quebec provincial programs) I only needed A2 in order to submit our documents, however with the help of College 2b and Mr. Rostami I could get B1 in a very short period of time.
