Expérience négative: I had my ielts test there in March 2026, I was waiting for the result on the given date for results. But I received an email says the test results are under some investigation! When i try to contact nobody is answering the phone . Is that a joke ? When someone needs the results in emergency situation ! And not getting answers on that ! How this is helping people ? Unsatisfied with the staff working there .

Expérience fantastique: Today, I had my CELPIP test at this center, and it was a wonderful experience. Everything was excellent. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, which really helped reduce my stress. The environment was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and all the equipment worked perfectly. I highly recommend taking your test at this center.

Expérience fantastique: If I had to describe my experience at Heartland in one word, it would be "personal growth." I learned so much about others, improved my social skills, had fun, and of course, practiced my English. As an alumna in 2024 and 2026, I can say with complete certainty that Heartland is a fantastic place to make new friends and learn English.

Expérience fantastique: Heartland International English School is a dream school for anyone who wants to learn state-of-the-art English, to experience authentic Canadian culture, and to act as Canadians do. You won't leave Canada empty-handed but fully-contented.

Expérience négative: Never choose this location for ielts exam. floor is very much noisy it will distract you mostly in reading task. Also invigilators should be more considerate. They walked with too much noisy shoes. They should provide quiet environment and conduct the exam smoothly but they didnt.

Expérience négative: I don't recommend this location for ielts as there's a parking problem. Seems like they're looking at time and not even 5 late min they'll cancel your test. I was at the location by 9:35 and couldn't find the parking and when I got it and entered the exam hall at 9::49 the guy said sorry you can't give exam now. Not an ideal location if you're coming by car and managing your work and exam at the same time.

Expérience fantastique: I highly recommend Heartland International. I had the opportunity to study there from intermediate to advanced level, and I also took the Pathway Program, which effectively prepared me for university admission. The teachers are highly skilled and experienced. The school provides access to a variety of educational resources, including books, educational apps, various activities, and volunteer opportunities that greatly enrich the learning experience. The staff is empathetic and supportive, caring about students' progress and success. Moreover, they accept students who are eligible for scholarships.

Expérience négative: Not recommended for IElTS test as it is not a quiet place while writing exam. The floor is noisy when someone walks and disturbs focusing in the exam. The time to arrive at center in email is 8 to 8.45 AM but they opened center at 8.30... The center should understand the value of time...

Expérience fantastique: The best place to learn English, I went there for about 8 months and I have never had as much fun as I’ve had here. I become like part of a family there and the staff were very helpful, friendly and cheerful. I even became an ambassador at one point of time. If I were ever to lose the ability to speak and understand English, I would gladly go back there and start all over again. Love this school and I miss going there everyday!!! If you’re looking for a friendly and fun way to learn English I would suggest you join the very next Monday.

Expérience fantastique: Do you want learning english as a funny way? It was incredible all that I made here. Every friday the teachers had a different activities, since skate until visit to museums. I know that my skills in english will be better now. Heartland is a small and very cozy place where you can learn english as a second language. I’m grateful for the wonderful experiences and the new friendships I’ve made. It’s amazing how, in a place as cold as Winnipeg, I found such warm people, especially the teachers at Heartland.

Expérience négative: Hi there, It’s sandhu . Actually I have Ielts exam in this school on 28th September and i was on time for my test but nobody opened the door and I didn’t get any confirmation email for test from this school still i was on time somehow coz i checked the timing on goggle. Overall I couldn’t give my test coz of school’s mistake and now I visited this school 5 times tried to explain and asked help coz its not my mistake but they just refused and kept my money for nothing. So Don’t fill your exam at this location ever if you don’t want to waste your money.

Expérience négative: Hii very bad experience i had test yesterday on 28sep, they said to came 8.45to 9.15 is registration time but they close there door before 8.45 I was there before 8.45 i was at there around 8.44 and they said they test is closed and we are not able to refund too. And they door is closed please ring bell for open door they did not even have bell at the door for that i missed my test .And not any camera outside so that they saw the students who are outside for test too.

Expérience négative: To all my student friends i request you to not engage with this institution as it is a big scam. Even after attending all the classes and doing all the activities and work given in the class on time they wouldn’t let students pass and have their certificates for further use. Just to take more money from them and fulfil their institutional expenses. Again its a request, go and search for more better options available in Winnipeg.

Expérience fantastique: I only studied in Heartland for 2 weeks but there were so many things that I learned that I can't list them all up. First, all the teachers are so friendly. I was able to have a lot of chances to speak with many teachers. It was an environment where anyone can freely express their feelings and challenge to communicate in English. Heartland was very strict on using our native languages. We had to immediately go home if we used any language except for English. There was a special room where we can use any language. I think this is a fantastic rule for students to seriously learn English. I like the curriculum of Heartland because not only can we learn English but also how to use them in our daily life. Every afternoon, we had a class to learn a specific skill for example, reading, writing, listening and speaking. We also had activities every Friday. I was able to use English by connecting with people actually living in Winnipeg. I also like that there are students from many countries. This was a big point for me because I was able to get used to many English accents. It was difficult for me to understand different English accents at first, but now I think that it is a big advantage for me that I can speak English with many people around the world. There were also a lot of things that I was able to know than English, such as world culture and history. In my class, we chose a topic and shared our opinions. It was interesting to know that our ideas differ from where we are from. Heartland is a wonderful school to learn English. Winnipeg is also an excellent place where there aren't many people from your home country. It is very peaceful with lots of nature, and you can relax living there. I really hope that I can study again in Heartland. Thank you for the exciting experience!

Expérience fantastique: Sometimes we think that learning another language is super easy and very fast, and when you move to a new country where everyone speaks English and the diversity of cultures makes pronunciation and accents different, then you realize that learning English is a continuous learning process. I thank Heartland for their support and their teaching method because they helped me not to be afraid to communicate. The experience has been very enriching, and thanks to the various class activities, I have been able to learn about many cultures and many countries through each of my diverse classmates. There is never wasted time as long as you continue to prepare yourself to achieve your goals.

Another important thing is that I’d made improvements in my English here. Amazing heartland! Love you! Also I got the score over 90 for my certificate, I can’t say it’s only about my hard-working, teachers helped me a lot!

Expérience fantastique: Great experience. My teacher Naomi was very patient and wonderful.

Expérience négative: Worst experience. I took english classes from them and it’s their policy to get 80% to receive a certificate. A week before, their marketing director says my percentage is 79.4% and the week after when it was my last class, I was told my percentage is 78% even though I attended all the classes and performed well. They said you are not eligible to receive a certificate and you have to take classes for one week more. It’s totally scam just to take your money.

Expérience fantastique: Great language school with professional teachers and helpful administration. You can not only learn English there, but find a lot of friends. Comfortable classrooms with good equipment, big dining rooms, friendly atmosphere.

Expérience fantastique: I have learned English here before, the staffs are friendly and enthusiastic. they are really willing to help you with any problem you have, especially when you are foreign student and everything feels strange.

Expérience négative: Terrible staff wish I had option to rate it negative I had my ielts test here I called them to confirm my date then I was told a wrong date on phone. Then I was at work and got a call that I missed my speaking test. Since i missed my speaking I wasn’t allowed to give other modules. Guys never choose them as a test center they are terrible people and try to rip you of in any way.

Expérience fantastique: I don’t learn English there but taking the celpip exam. The staffs were friendly and helpful so it reduced the pressure of the test. The infrastructure is fine with standard cleaning washroom and I saw microwaves in the basement so it probably being used as a cafeteria during weekdays.

Expérience négative: Today I wanted to share an experience I had few months ago I totally forgot about it and didn’t give the review So here is the thing after giving my exam I wasn’t given any email regards the results As I followed up with them they claimed the results are sent to india . I gave my address in canada . Like how is that even possible I don’t even remember my previous address how come I would even put it in the system And then they said they will bring back the TRF from india . Ok which they did , but how come I had same exact results as I had before in each module . It could have been less or more . Well that seemed really suspicious to me as they may have misplaced the exam papers or something else . I would recommend to give computer exam as You spend your money and want the genuine service. It may not make sense but I wouldn’t have bother to put up a review here

Expérience négative: No headphones will be given in paper-based Ielts exam at this location, you could be easily distracted. Worst part: listening audio stopped during test. Headphones are a must i feel cz 2 examiners will be walking around and other students are also present in same room, even if one person sneeze (for an example), everyone would b distracted. Please do something about it.

Expérience positive: Took a computer-based IELTS exam here. Unbiased review since I haven't gotten my results yet. Place is convenient to get to by bus. Peeps here are friendly and the exam rooms are actually pretty big and bright. Keyboards can be kind of loud though and some of the headphones leak sound so if you're easily distracted, this might be an issue. They keep your stuff in a locked storage room so I don't think you need to be worried about anything getting stolen (during the speaking portion it's on a table next to one of the staff members).

Expérience positive: The staff was great. at the ENglish test we were distracted by others talking(Aswering the test questions).each one should have his own booth like the ones in the offices.when I talked about that with others who took the test ,they had the same problem.

Expérience positive: It was ok, could be better for sure.. while having the speaking test I was asked to reduce my voice while I was already low and that might affect my speaking scoring (I hope not). And we started about 20min late, Their than that all was ok.
