Fantastic experience: Overall, my studies here have been a very positive experience. The teachers are supportive, and the learning environment is motivating. I have improved my skills and gained confidence. I have no major concerns at the moment.

Fantastic experience: I have been studying at Oxford International for about five months. There are so many wonderful things about this school that I cannot list them all, but I would like to share some of my favorite points. ★ You can meet very kind teachers. On my first day, I was very nervous. But thanks to the friendly teachers and the warm atmosphere in the class, I was able to start my school life happily. The UCP class was very challenging for me. However, the teachers always encouraged me and supported me, so I could keep trying. ★ You can meet friends from all over the world. If you study English in your own country, many classmates may be from the same country. But here, students come from many different places. There are teenagers, young adults, and even parents. I think it is very special that you can make friends with people of different ages and nationalities. ★ There are many activities besides studying. These activities are optional, but they are very enjoyable. We carved pumpkins for Halloween, made gingerbread houses at Christmas, and went to watch hockey games. I had many fun moments with my friends. There is also extra study time outside of class. When I lost confidence in class, this study time helped me and gave me support. ★ The location is good, and the school facilities are clean and comfortable. Even though there are many students, the school director takes care of each student. I also like the tradition of taking class photos when someone graduates. It is a little sad to see classmates leave, but it is also a happy moment because everyone is moving toward their next step. It makes me want to work hard until my own graduation day. Before coming here, I was a mother working and raising my kids in my home country. Sometimes I still cannot believe that I am now studying full-time as a student. This experience is very precious to me. Learning English in English is challenging, but it is also very interesting. Let’s study together at Oxford International Language School!

Fantastic experience: 여기 선생님들 진짜 좋아요 어학원만 다녀서 영어가 늘수있을까 생각하는데 구조가 진짜 늘 수 밖에 없는 구조에요 첨엔 값어치를 하려나 했는데 저처럼 영알못인분들은 꼭 거쳐야할과정이라고 생각해요 그냥 수업시간만이 아니라 수업끝난후에도 스터디그룹?처럼 자유롭게 프리토킹하는 시간도 있고 그런시간을 학생들끼리만 하는게아니라 원장님(?)도오고 선생님도오고 다같이수다떨어서 할리팩스에 정보도 많이듣고 영어도 자연스럽게 할수있는것같애요ㅋㅋ 제가 파워 I성향이라 처음엔 책 읽으라는 발표도 수줍었는데 이제는 먼저 손들고 질문하고 자유롭게 이야기나눠요 일단 선생님들이 빨리 수업 끝내고 퇴근할라는 느낌이 안들고 어떻게서든 더 알려주고싶어하고 그런게 느껴져서 좋구, 영어랑 관계없는 개인적인 상담도 잘 들어주시고 그래서 완전 추천합니다. 그리고 여기오기전엔 원래 어학원들에서 교재를 비싸게 구입해서 한다는 얘기를 어디서 주워들었는데 여기는 매번 프린트물을 나눠주시고 화면으로 보면서 수업하셔서 교재는 구입 안하는것같애요 숙제는 좀 있는 편인데 없으면 능률이 오르지않겠죠? 한국에서 백날 영어찔끔씩 해보려고 하다가 인생에 치여 접고 그랬는데 확실히 와서 하는게 훨씬 도움되는것같아요 같이다니는 친구들도 사귀고 그래야 영어를 하게되지 마트가고 그런다고 영어가 늘진 않는것같아요 암튼 강추입니다 강강추

Fantastic experience: My experience at Oxford International has been really good, so I’m giving it 5 stars. I want to specially mention my teachers Lina and Bita. From day one, they have been a big support for my learning. They are always present in class, they explain the topics in a clear way, and they make sure everyone participates. When you make mistakes, they correct you in a kind and respectful way, so you don’t feel embarrassed. That helped me feel more relaxed and more comfortable speaking English. I also like that the classes are not only about theory. You practice a lot: speaking, listening, and vocabulary that you can use in real life. The activities feel active and the lessons are well organized. Another thing I really like is the international environment. You meet people from different countries, and that pushes you to speak English every day, not only in class but also with classmates. Since I started, I can honestly see my progress. I feel more confident when I speak, my pronunciation is getting better, and I understand more when people talk. The staff is also friendly and helpful when you have questions. Overall, I’m very happy with the school and I would recommend Oxford International to anyone who wants to improve English in a supportive and positive place.

Fantastic experience: Gareth was one of my favorite teachers at Oxford International. His classes were lively, engaging, and full of positive energy, and he always made sure every student felt included. I joined the class later than the others, but he helped me quickly feel comfortable and become part of the group. He also encouraged us to practice English in real-life situations. I remember one time I needed to call an organization, but my English was very limited and I was extremely nervous. Gareth noticed my anxiety right away and kindly offered to help make the call. I was so touched at that moment that I couldn’t hold back my tears. His patience and kindness gave me confidence during my first experience studying in a foreign country, and I will always be grateful. At Oxford International, I also met many wonderful teachers and friends. Even after graduation, we still keep in touch. Fantastic experience: I studied at Oxford Halifax for one month, and it was honestly such a great experience. I already had some vocabulary, but I was really nervous about speaking. The teachers here made all the difference. Lina was my main teacher and she’s amazing — so encouraging and patient. Victoria also stepped in for a week and was just as lovely. They both made me feel super comfortable to speak, even when I made mistakes. I definitely lost a lot of the fear I had before. Gareth, the director, is also really friendly and always made us feel welcome. If you're looking for a place to feel supported and actually start speaking, I highly recommend it!

Fantastic experience: My time at Oxford International, formerly East Coast Language College (ECLC), was one of the best periods of my life. I learned so much from my teachers and made some wonderful friends. I highly recommend the experience of attending this school, as it not only helped me grow as a student—I graduated with a very good level of English—but also helped me grow as a person, providing me with life skills that I still use and appreciate today. Without a doubt, it was the best English school I could have attended.

Fantastic experience: I studied at Oxford International from September 2022 to March 2023 and had a great experience. When I arrived, I had almost no English, but thanks to the supportive teachers I improved a lot. My favorite teacher was Zara, she is amazing! Even now when I sometimes see her, we chat a lot and I’m always happy to see her. The knowledge I gained there helped me continue studying. Now I'm fluent in English and have no fear to talk to anyone. I’m very grateful for my time at the school and would definitely recommend it.

Fantastic experience: I went to this language school for six months, and that time changed my life so much. My English wasn’t very good at that time, but all of the teachers were very experienced and talented, so it improved a lot. I’m not sure because I’ve never been to any other language schools, but I believe this is the best school in Halifax.

Fantastic experience: I enjoyed the 3 month I spent at this school! I took the 26-hour program of General English and Elective English, and I loved it! Teachers and staff are friendly. In my opinion, the main point to improve would be to give frequent assessments to measure students progress in order to create homogeneous groups, and to provide precise feedback for them to work on specific skills all along their journey at school. I highly recommend the English Programs at this school anyway.

The teachers at Bite are serious and responsible, the class atmosphere is comfortable, and they are always ready to help students. Fantastic experience: I have been studying in Oxford for nearly 3 months. I like it very much. I can meet friends from all over the world here. The teachers are kind. The classes are interesting and informative.
