Welcome to the Global Gathering Place English Language Centre (ELC), a dedicated non-profit organization located in the heart of Saskatoon, Canada. Our mission is to empower refugees and immigrants by offering free English classes that enable successful settlement and integration into Canadian society.

At our centre, newcomers can engage in various English learning opportunities tailored to their specific needs. We provide classes for all levels, from basic literacy to advanced proficiency, accommodating both in-person and online options. Our Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) and Stage 1 to 2 English Classes cater to adult learners, including temporary residents and Canadian citizens.

In addition to English classes, we offer an array of support services such as one-on-one assistance, skill-building programs, and employment support, ensuring that our students not only learn the language but are also equipped with the necessary tools to thrive in their new environment. For parents, free childcare is available during most classes, making it easier to balance education and family life.
