Expérience négative: Toronto is a great place to study English, but don’t waste your time or money at ILAC, especially the Pathway program. My experience was very disappointing. It often felt like the school cared more about collecting tuition than actually supporting students. The level of professionalism and personal attention just wasn’t there, and overall it left a really negative impression. There are many better language schools in Toronto, and I honestly regret not choosing one of them.

Expérience négative: "I took an intensive online course with ILAC Toronto for 2 months, and the result was a complete disaster. Although I was placed in a class suited to my level, the quality of instruction was non-existent. There was almost no actual teaching; the entire process was just going through basic activities in a textbook. Even though I don't consider my English perfect, I ended up being one of the best in the class simply because the material was so superficial and lacked depth. When I realized the lessons were unproductive and requested a change of class or department—which is my right—the institution refused my request. Instead of offering a solution, they used my lack of attendance in these useless classes and exams as an excuse. Why would I waste my time attending classes that are clearly poor and provide zero value? Customer satisfaction and educational quality are non-existent here. Instead of paying high international fees and commissions in a foreign currency, you can find much better quality and more affordable education in your own country or elsewhere. Trust me, it’s clearly a money trap."

Expérience fantastique: I’ve studied at ILAC for a couple of years at the college. As far as i remember they were always kind, MANY fun activities and get together, and the facilities are really good to be honest. I came back because I had to take the IELTS exam and I was impressed on how they renovated and improved everything! It is a very fond memory of my time in Canada

Expérience positive: ILAC was an important experience for me two years ago. Just living in another country far from your own and sharing with people from all over the world is amazing. It's a temporary experience, but learning English and making progress depends on you and also on being with teachers who have the gift and passion for teaching. There are different types of teachers there: some are willing to teach, and others don't have that passion. The unfortunate thing I experienced was my homestay. Like most students who go to Canada, this experience is terrible. The experience of immersing yourself with a Canadian family doesn't exist. These are foreign families who have been living there for years, and you pay a lot of money for these homestays, but the service is awful. The food is scarce compared to what you pay. The Institute warns that the food provided will be minimal, but honestly, just experiencing it is depressing and insufficient. So it's best not to use this homestay service; it's a high cost that I don't recommend taking on or experiencing.

Expérience négative: I really do not recommend taking the French classes here, and especially do not pay in advance. They refuse to provide refunds even when their own policies state otherwise. In addition, the course lacked organization and structure — teachers changed constantly, which disrupted the learning process and made it difficult to follow a consistent curriculum. Overall, I’m very disappointed with the lack of transparency, poor communication, and overall disorganization of the program.

Expérience négative: I went to here to take my CELPIP. However, as indicated on CELPIP website, we should speak in normal volumes. The proctor interrupted me for 6 times when I was doing my speaking part. This significantly affected my scores and led my mental breakdown since I needed the score urgently and she probably ruined my life by this.

Expérience négative: I had a disappointing experience with ILAC’s online French program. The teachers assigned to the course seemed unprepared and lacked the structure or experience needed to deliver effective lessons. When I raised concerns and asked for support to improve my learning or switch instructors, I was told changes were being made, but nothing actually changed. It’s frustrating to feel ignored when you’re trying to invest time and effort in learning. Despite their polite responses, there was no real follow-through or improvement. A real shame, considering ILAC’s reputation. I expected much better.

Expérience fantastique: I took the online course for 9 weeks and I felt that my English improved a lot. Excelent teachers! I lost the fear of communicating and of learning from my mistakes.I highly recommend this school! Thank you ILAC!

All the staff, teachers, everyone is incredible, helpful, they do their best for each student. Especially my first teacher Sean Orchad, who helped me a lot, but all the other teachers are amazing! Studying at ILAC transformed my life! I made great friends, from different cultures and countries, and I still keep in touch with most of them today. I loved the method applied to study, my English was basic and now I can write, speak and listen. It definitely opened new doors in my life! Thank you so much! ❤️

Expérience fantastique: I joined ILAC Kiss the online Programm at ILAC and was more than happy with my choice. The flexibility of studying from home was perfect for me. The online class were very well structured and what I loved the most were the peers from all over the world which gave me the chance to interact with all kinds of accents. Also the teachers were mostly fun and engaging. Leo Young was my personal favourite! He always made the time in class engaging and did his best to cover all additional topics which were wished by the students in class. ILAC is a great choice for people who want to improve their English skills, I am certain you won’t regret it.

Expérience négative: this school steals from students, my brother did a 12 months course at ILAC Toronto, they forced us to pay airport transportation because my brother was underaged, however they did not provide the airport transportation, not only that, they didn't even inform my brother the school was never planning on picking him up, I asked for a refund because they did not provide the service I paid for, but they ignored my messages and practically stole the transport fee we paid, I've been begging for a refund for 6 months now and the staff Renny Zeis and Pia Cardenas just ignore my messages and calls. I could not recommend this school specially with underaged students, because they do not care about them, I'm positive there are way better schools.

Expérience négative: Before Covid ILAC will be so far the most amazing and useful place to learn English. But after Covid the quality got worse and now they force you to pay for materials that they never give you. It's a shame, because it was a good institution.

Expérience fantastique: I was in Pathway 3 course for almost 4 months. Our class was done through Zoom and It was great experience. My teacher was passionate and the class was informative! Many students actively participated in the class. The overall structure of my class was one week for lecture and another week for IELTS test and presentation or essay. This structure made me keep studying English because I had to go through test at two weeks intervals. So I am satisfied with this program.

Expérience fantastique: I took a free trial online lesson at advanced class for a week. My teacher's class was very fun and easy to understand. Creating slides for presentation and giving a presentation in front of the whole class were tough for me, but very helpful. Unfortunately, my time slot was midnight because of the time difference, so I was really sleepy and tired. If my time fits with him, I would like to continue.

Expérience positive: I spent 4 mouths in pathway courses and IELTS course for 2 mouths. The pathway course in ILAC was really useful such as presentation and long research essay, I built my knowledge of writing in English through this course, and met a lot of friends who came from South American, and some teachers were really friendly. Due to COVID-19, it was uses of online courses at this moment, but it was shame that the online course system had felt incomplete and need to more organizational, such as used Google forms for online IELTS tests was not quite well. Overall, under pressure conditions, I had achieved my English skills really quick.

Expérience fantastique: Dear ILAC KISS Where do I start? First of all, I was supposed to start with face-to-face classes in February when everything was "normal" however, I had a problem trying to board the plane, as a result, I missed that flight. A few months passed, and the situation with the pandemic began to worsen, and it was then that some countries decided to close their borders. While I was waiting for the situation that prevented me from boarding the plane to be solved, I was notified by the agency that is helping me with the whole process, that ILAC was giving classes online. At first, I did not like the idea, because I wanted to be present in the country to really live the experience, but that was not going to happen at least at that time. At first, I did not accept the opportunity, but I began to realize that I had to start doing something because time flies. Later I accepted and started on July 6. From my first class, I really enjoyed the dynamism and atmosphere of the class and the group, obviously, some things are not the same as being in face-to-face classes, since the pandemic made things change so quickly that there was no time to adapt, however, ILAC has known how to adapt to the circumstances we live in today. And for that, I really thank ILAC KISS as well as all their teachers and the rest of their staff members, for giving this opportunity not only to me but also to all those students who have dreams and are trying to overcome these circumstances that we are all facing. I also want to invite any of you who are hesitating to take a step and try the classes at ILAC KISS because it is a great and fun experience you get to know and learn from many people as well as their culture. Speaking about the academic part, it is amazing how living in these circumstances is possible to give live presentations to other people who are in different parts of the globe, as well as learn to write academic essays and be more efficient in doing it, and also learning to read academic and nonacademic texts more effectively. I have never got bored at her lessons, plus , i have found out many idioms and slang, there were a lot of speaking practice and i enjoyed it. I have really improved my English skills. Extra activities were always entertaining and cognitive☺️. Moreover I would like to travel to Canada because i have discovered a lot of astonishing information about this country. ILAC, I am obsessed with your school and would recommend it to anyone looking to learn english♥️

Expérience fantastique: With any doubt, the best Canada's english course. The buildings structure is amazing (except to library building). The teachers are well chosen and the tests are demanding and well done. If you want to learn English seriously, this is the place! Some suggestions: it urges to make better facilities in the library building. You must build more washrooms, more resting rooms for students, etc. The discrepancy among library building and the others ones is enormous. It must be solved urgently!
