Negative experience: For a year and a half, my child attended the speaking club with the teacher Natalia Koneva. Recently, there were a few lessons where audio echo occurred. Instead of suggesting that he rejoin the session, the teacher muted his microphone. Later, she decided to discontinue lessons with my child. I believe the situation could have been discussed with me and handled in a more professional manner.

Fantastic experience: My kids 6 and 4 started taking lessons and we are happy. Teachers are engaging and my hope is that it helps them maintain the language.

Fantastic experience: We’ve been with Palme Online School for two months now, and I’m really pleased with the progress my son is making. He’s 10, enjoys his teacher and the lessons, and – most importantly – feels motivated to speak Russian again. He spoke Russian when he was very young, but after the pandemic he had a long break from lessons, so it felt almost like starting from scratch. That said, we were hoping his early memory would kick in – and it already is! The Palme bilingual approach works very well for him. We’ve chosen 1-to-1 lessons for now, and he is rebuilding his reading skills while learning useful conversational topics that make the language practical and relevant to everyday life. He also attends a weekly Conversation Club with children at a similar level, as well as Vocabulary practice sessions available in the evenings. It’s also very good value. I think Palme School offers an excellent method for bilingual children – highly recommended!

С каждым уроком, я чувствую как мой ребенок больше и больше понимает, ей легче учиться в школе, она не боится математики, и ей нравятся уроки! Вроде бы по чуть-чуть, но регулярность очень сильно тренирует понимание, память, и внимание. Прогресс на лицо! Отличная методика работы с детьми и отличная программа. Из всех кружков, этот думаю наш самый любимый.

Fantastic experience: We are very happy that we have found Palme school. My daughter is 5 years old, born and lives in Australia. I speak fluent Russian (mum), but dad is French and at home we speak English. Estelle been attending Saturday Russian school for a year with no results - no speaking skills and no understanding either…I nearly given up and then decided to try private online tutoring! I cannot explain how happy I am. It’s been 3 months only and Estelle now understands a lot and recently started answering in Russian!!!! Решили брать уроки после того как увидела, что сын с трудом разбирается в простейших вопросах географиии и при всем моем желании мне не хватит времени и глубины знаний устранить пробелы. Занятия проходят на русском языке, что так же важно как и сам предмет изучения. Лекции очень толковые, понятные для детей , говорящих русском языке меньшую часть своего дня. Все сложные термины доступно объясняются, уроки очень интересные и познавательные с домашним заданием. Сама часто слушаю рассказы Артема Александровича, если оказываюсь поблизости. Он никогда не перебивает учеников и всегда дает им время подумать, Обстановка на уроках легкая и непринужденная. Уроки в интерактивной форме, что помогает развитию речи детей. Занятия проходят в удобное для нас вечернее время. Все очень нравится, Рекоменлую этого преподователя и школу Палме.

Fantastic experience: Мой сын начал обучение в он лайн школе и уже после первых трех занятий просил еще! Мы выкупили курс русского языка и после подбора преподавателя, определились с группой. В дополнение нам предоставили школу разговорного языка и тренажер на ежедневной основе. Тренажер - это просто находка в плане наработки словарного запаса как для детей, так и для англоговорящих родителей! Преподаватели в школе разные, но благодаря постоянной поддержке со стороны кураторов, можно очень оперативно подобрать того, с кем ребенку комфортнее. Удивительно, как в непростом режиме он лайн ребята высиживают полноценное занятие и активно участвуют! Программа уроков оформлена в доступным для понимания формате, даже малышам, как моему ребенку, интересно. Школу уже рекомендую своим подругам с детками!

Fantastic experience: Finally my youngest child joined Palme school. His older sister has been learning Russian for 3 years already and the progress is impressive. She started with no knowledge at all. Teachers are great here and know how to make even shy kids feel comfortable and confident. Fun reward system for the kids as well. My son has had only 3 classes so far but he already knows at least 15 new words. We are really happy with Palme school, their program, management and teachers.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful experience. Initially I didn’t expect much from online language school for a 5 yo. But since this pandemic started and kids are at home - I had nothing to lose and tried the lesson anyway. It is wonderful, I see progress and lessons are engaging and fun. My daughter is looking forward to every lesson! Being in a group of kids with kind and welcoming professional (Paulina) is what makes our class a success. We already recommended this school to our friends and they are very happy as well. I also have to mention customer service. They are always there for you. Update: my kid is still with Palme school 3 years later and loves it. Their customer service is exceptional and teachers are very talented.

Fantastic experience: My both kids have Russian classes in Palme School. I actually looked into several language schools before signing them up for the classes. What I liked about this school is that they seem to have a very good curriculum developed and constantly improved by their academic team. As a former teacher, I know that it makes things much easier when teachers have more time to tailor already prepared materials to the needs of particular students. Palme school teachers (and we have already had classes with a few due to rescheduling when we couldn't make the classes at our regular time) are mostly very professional and efficient. Also, when you sign up for a year you get discounts and free classes which makes it even a better deal price wise. As for communication, the coordinators are always quick to assist parents with rescheduling or other issues. So, in general we are very happy with the choice we've made. The kids are enjoying their classes and make steady progress, especially my son. My daughter was less motivated to begin with, but she likes her teachers. Palme is challenging enough and group classes are extremely helpful. Her teacher is very patient and keeps them on task. I should note some make up classes she had with other teachers and others are as patient so it seems to be across the board. Challenging homework which child loves to do. Since we started this school, he is now saying Russian words and short sentences. Im very happy with the progress. Fantastic experience: My daughter love Russian lessons at Palme School. The lessons go in small group and teacher is very positive and engaging. She encourages them to learn in easy discussions to develop love for language. I also like the administrative support I receive. Any questions answer the same day, I’ve got a reminder 50 min before class starts which is very convenient. The application and connection to virtual meeting were easy to install. I would recommend Palme school to all my friends.

Fantastic experience: My to sons ages 17 and 12 studied in Palme school for years now. I was always afraid that being born abroad they would not be able to learn Russian because it is so hard when are not around Russian speaking people. But they can both speak and understand me and others. Being online is so helpful too because it saves so much time on driving to the teacher. Everybody are so helpful and understanding. My youngest favourite is art. Never thought you can teach kids online how to draw plus it’s in Russian. You get skill in art and in language. Fantastic experience: My 4 year old is only about 3 weeks into the classes but we are absolutely loving the program. It’s so engaging, our teacher Irina is extremely great with an after-school fidgety 4 year old, and my daughter has already learned so much. She is excited for her classes and loves practicing her new words at home. My daughter is in the “Russian as a foreign language” program, she has some understanding of spoken Russian but we signed her up because we would love for her to confidently be able to express herself. I have already recommended Palme to all of my Russian Canadian friends who (like me) have slacked with language learning at home!

Fantastic experience: Very good option for virtual learning of Russian language for kids. Our son enjoys the classes where he gets to interact with other students also. Fantastic experience: Palme School is a highly professional school. It is well organised. The staff is always very polite and courteous. They often ask parents for feedback in order to learn and evolve and to provide better services in the future. All teachers are native speakers and are professional, experienced and positive. They know how to find a personal approach to every student. Our son is 7 years old. At the moment he attends a Russian language and an Art course. He benefits from them a lot and is always looking towards the next class. We are fully satisfied and would strongly recommend Palme school to anyone considering such a programme.

My two kids have been enrolled in at least 2 classes since they were 4-5, for 3+ years and I can see a lot of progress as they are almost a full grade level above the public school program in math and have very good verbal skills.

Ей понравился учитель Алексей, он очень вежливый и внимательный к детям, пошутит с ними и подскажет. Мне нравится что уроки проходят через zoom и не надо никуда ездить. Детеи немного в классе и учитель успевает со всеми позаниматься.

Fantastic experience: I am impressed with the results! After 4 months of classes my son can read and his vocabulary is greatly improved. Classes are easy to access and the customer service is great! I would definitely recommend to everyone who wants to start languages early for their kids. I don’t have to drive around the city to the tutoring places and waist time in traffic and my son is more focused on the actual class since he gets to do it from the comfort of his own home.

Fantastic experience: After trying Russian schools, tutors, we were recommended to try Palm school. My son is loving it. Lessons are with a group of 4-5 kids, which allows for both personalized attention, yet being involved in a group setting. Kids practice speaking to each other, which is great! You get a little bit of speaking, learning new vocabulary, numbers and writing as well. Our teacher Irina is FANTASTIC! Having my son learning Russian is like pulling teeth. It is difficult to motivate him. Now he’s actually excited (never thought I’d be saying this) to do Russian homework!

Fantastic experience: My Daughter started classes a couple of weeks ago with Palme School. She loves taking classes and getting to know the teacher and students since it’s a small class it’s easier for engagement . She is getting to notice more words in Russian since taking the class and is always excited and looking forward to her class. This is a great program especially living in a small town where you can’t find Russian language school. So having someone there virtually teaching your child is definitely a plus. I would recommend for other students to take Russian classes with Palme School.

Fantastic experience: Долго искала для своей дочери русские занятия на домашнем обучении. Так как живем в английско говорящей стране, то проблемы с русской речью образовались сразу. Палме школа подошла просто великолепно моей дочери, уроки несмотря на разные часовые пояса были выбраны в то время которое нам подходило, учитель так мягко подошла к обучению что все стеснения и страхи исчезли после первого урока. А самое главное что часто проходят акции и можно купить акцию уроков по очень хорошей цене. Советую асем!!

Negative experience: Too expensive for such short online lessons. Plus I was upfront that my son is a little older than 14, I talked to someone on the phone, they still scheduled trial lesson with him, but cancelled it right before the lesson saying that he is older than 14 and he can't be their student. Still received a lot of emails from that school after asking to sign up. Seems like they don't know what they are doing...

Fantastic experience: This is a great school! My daughter started their program a month ago and I can see a huge improvement in her Russian. She could understand some before but she never spoke Russian and now she’s actually using Russian words in her speech. I’m impressed! We’ll definitely continue our classes with Palme School.

Her reading, grammar and speech have been improved! Lessons are very interactive, groups are always small, so every kid has appotunity to participate though out the lesson. Fantastic experience: My son started taking chess lessons with Palme School 3 months ago and enjoys it very much. His group is small enough for each child to get enough attention and participation when they take turns in assignments or a game. Dariya, his teacher, is great! She explains the lesson with much patience and in easy-to-understand way. She also makes sure to connect with each child on a personal level through friendly greetings while waiting for everyone to join the lesson. My son's chess skills are definitely improving, and he looks forward to each class, and even the homework! I must also say that at Palme School they pay attention to each child's skill level when placing a child in a group, so that everyone gets the most out of his or her learning experience. The lessons are in Russian which is a lovely bonus! Definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: My son really enjoys the lessons and learns new words and expressions at every class. He then brings it to his day to day conversations which is amazing! We like it that the class is interactive and the kids don’t get bored. There are visuals, music, the teachers always ask good questions and keep the kids involved. We certainly recommend these classes and will be taking more in the future. I am also going to sign up my youngest son!

My son is in a conversational class and the teacher (Aleksey Kovalets) is from Russia, he tries very hard to interest and talk to each child. My daughter is studying in the Russian language class and she likes the teacher (Irina Shlyakhtitskaya). I love that this school is online and the kids don't have to go anywhere. I have recommended Palme to my friends. Fantastic experience: Both of our kids tried the program and continue using it. Very accommodative teachers. Trying their best to find the optimal lesson and time to fit any schedule needs. My daughter takes talking group since our schedule is very tight and she loves it! My older boy takes lessons twice a week and enjoys them very much. I can definitely see more interest in kids speaking Russian. They are trying to read a Russian words and recognize the letters ( they both are beginners with Russian as a second language) Highly recommend this program. Friendly teachers, small groups, accommodative staff. And reminders OMG got to love reminders ! For someone with a packed schedule they are keeping it up for me by reminding of every lesson and checking back with us wether we will attend the class or not and I really like it. We are very happy we found you guys!

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this school. I have both of my kids in this school. only because of this school my oldest speaks Russian. I can say that, because my youngest doesn't speak, he only understands Russian and he only now began his journey with Palme School. However, my oldest has been doing it for two years now and has significantly expanded his vocabulary and ability to dorm sentences in Russian. I would recommend it not only to the families with one or both Russian parents. I would recommend it to anyone who wants their child to be bilingual.
