Negative experience: I wish I could give them a zero. It has been more than 10 days, since. I gave my IELTS, they had stated the results would be out in 5 days. Try calling their phone number and it goes on voicemail and no one gets back to you. I feel no freaking human listens to those voicemails, they just come in the morning and delete them, who is going to check. No one responds to your calls, and when you send them an email, its a generic crap filled email. ONE OF THE MOST HORRENDOUS PLACES TO GIVE YOUR IELTS, I WISHED I WOULD HAVE GIVEN IT ELSEWHERE. DON'T RISK IF YOU NEED YOUR RESULTS URGENTLY SAVING A FEW DOLLARS HAS COSTED ME MORE DUE TO THE STRESS AND UNWARRANTED TROUBLE THAT IS BEING CAUSED.

Negative experience: This school has serious issues with its level placement system. I’ve applied to change classes, but I haven’t received any response. Given this experience, I would not choose this school again.

Negative experience: Avoid this IELTS test center at all cost. They not only release result months later but withheld results of students for no apparent reasons. I spoke to BC and they confirmed that they are waiting to hear from the IELTS test partners while they undergo some checks. I understand that but don’t understand why other centers have released and this center still doing its checks.

Hi Aish, we are very sorry that your results were withheld and we sympathize at how frustrating this was for you; however, please know that this is not a decision made by ILSC Vancouver, but by the IELTS global team. This happens at all test centres and unfortunately, centres are also not provided a reason due to test security.

Dear Bruna,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are truly sorry to hear about what you went through, and we understand how upsetting an incident like this can be. The safety and well-being of our students and visitors is something we take very seriously.

Our records indicate that this incident occurred back in 2023. Since then, we have made significant changes to strengthen campus security, including relocating to a new building and implementing secure, coded access at our entrance to better limit access to staff and enrolled students only.

We did attempt to reach out to you directly today to follow up, and we would very much welcome the opportunity to connect with you personally. If you are open to it, we encourage you to reply to that email or contact us at [email protected] so we can review your experience in more detail, address any outstanding concerns, and continue improving our processes.

Thank you again for bringing this to our attention.
