Fantastic experience: When I first started school, I couldn’t speak English at all. I couldn’t understand what my classmates or teachers were talking about. When I was a teenager, I was not good at studying at a desk, and I especially didn’t like English. At LCI, I could improve my English through many activities with kind classmates and friendly, energetic teachers. Little by little, I started to communicate in English. I then thought about what I could do for this school, and I found out that I could help as a volunteer student. I started volunteering and had many great experiences, such as helping new students, supporting teachers, and helping with activities. This experience became a very special and valuable time for me. ✨ At this school, I met friends from many different countries. I could share cultures, try new things, and open my mind. I am very thankful to my classmates, teachers, and staff. LCI is a warm and kind school. Everyone is supportive and sincere. I am very happy to be part of this school. ❤️‍

Fantastic experience: Everyone at this school is truly kind and treats each other like family. The classes cover a wide range of topics, from academic content to everyday conversation, so every day is very stimulating and motivating. If you don’t understand something, you can easily ask the teachers for help. Personally, I was especially happy to study English in such a multicultural environment, with students from many different countries such as Mexico, Peru, and Korea. Even after graduating, I plan to drop by the school from time to time!

Fantastic experience: Tuve la oportunidad de viajar a Canadá en dos ocasiones, una por un periodo de tres semanas y debido a que me encanto el ambiente internacional más aparte las clases eran súper interactivas decidí volver por un tiempo de seis meses.Ya de regreso en México puedo decir que fue de las mejores experiencias que he tenido, disfrutar del país y de sus diferentes estaciones, las celebraciones y con eso un montón de amigos de diferentes nacionalidades, agradeciendo a la escuela por el tiempo que estuve allá ya que mi nivel de inglés realmente mejoró diría que es una de las cosas que nadie se debería perder

Fantastic experience: I really love this language school! The teachers are amazing and always make the classes fun and engaging. The atmosphere is super friendly, and it feels like everyone truly cares about helping you improve your English. One of my favorite parts was the Friday activities — they were always so much fun! It was the perfect chance to make new friends, explore the city, and practice English in a relaxed way. I met so many wonderful people through those events. I liked this school so much that I’ve actually come back three times, and every time was a great experience. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to learn English and have a great time doing it! And.. I’m gonna miss them all I hope that I can come back again !

Fantastic experience: Before working in Vancouver, I took an ESL course at LCI School for a month. The school moved to a new building in September, and the facilities are awesome, clean and comfortable! I had lots of conversations with my classmates every single day, and it really helped me make many international friends✨ I’m also really grateful to my teachers, Tiffany and Victoriia Whenever I asked questions, they always answered kindly and patiently. Fantastic experience: I enrolled in 2024 and took the six-month course. Instructors are patient and the materials are practical. Fridays were the best — hands-on sessions, presentations and peer interaction made learning fun and applicable. Fantastic experience: I studied English at LCI for 14 weeks, although on and off, and it was truly a joyful experience! First of all, the teaching here is immersive and focused on real communication rather than exam preparation. The goal is to improve both language and thinking skills. I know that many Chinese students tend to choose test-oriented institutions, and I initially considered that too. But I wanted to try a different approach—one that focused on improving my speaking ability—so I chose LCI. And it turned out to be the right decision! On the very first day of the trial class, I spoke more English than I ever had in my life! Every class is centered around discussion, so you get plenty of opportunities to speak. Secondly, the teachers, classmates, and staff here are amazing! Everyone is super friendly and supportive. You can truly be yourself without worrying about making mistakes, speaking slowly, or not getting things right. People are very understanding—especially the teachers! Throughout the 14-week course, I studied with Damian and Heather, and believe me, they are the best teachers you could ask for! Damian’s classes were always inspiring—not just in terms of language, but also in the way they encouraged critical thinking. Heather’s classes felt warm and welcoming. She always corrected our mistakes promptly, which was really important to me. Finally, the overall atmosphere at the school is fantastic! Students of all ages study here, but most of them are university students, which brings a lot of energy. There are plenty of activities after class and on Fridays, both indoor and outdoor, so there’s always something for everyone! 在LCI断断续续学了14周的英语，真的很快乐！首先，这里是沉浸式英语教育，不是为了考试而学习，而且为了锻炼语言和思维能力学习。我知道很多中国学生会优先选择应试教育的机构学习，我开始也这样想过，但是我想试试其他学习的方式，重点锻炼自己说英语的能力，所以我选择这里！事实证明我的选择没有错！来试听的那一天就说了我这辈子最多的英语！每堂课都是以讨论为主，你有很多说英语的机会！其次，这里的老师，同学，工作人员都非常棒！大家非常友善！你可以做你自己，不必为了说错说得慢说得不好而担心，大家会非常包容，尤其是老师！在这14周的课程里，我一直跟着Damian和Heather学习，相信我，他们是最好的老师！在Damian的课上我总是会受到很多启发，不仅语言上，更是思维上！而Heather的课则令人倍感亲切！她总是会及时给我们纠错，这点对我非常重要！最后，这所学校的氛围特别好！各个年龄段的学生都有，最多的就是大学生，非常有活力！周五和平常下课的活动也很多，包括室内和室外的活动，总有一款适合你！

Fantastic experience: BEST LANGUAGE SCHOOL EVER!! The teachers, students, staffs and security, everyone here is bright and energetic. Everyone are to speak English only, and therefore it is easy to get along with students from other countries. There are also fantastic activities after class or on Friday, you can decide yourself whether to take a class or not. All activities I participated (language exchange, Mexico day, hiking in Lynn Canyon, painting t-shirt) were extremely interesting and memorable. Many events are held in the school and each and every one of it is worth it. I attended school for 3 weeks, and I am sure this is one of the best time of my life. I thank the school so much for making my 2025 July the best July ever! I am looking forward to come back to LCI as soon as possible. See you then

When our friends noticed a clear improvement in our English and told us so, it made us even more motivated to keep learning. We are both over 50 years old, and most of our classmates were younger people from different parts of the world. But the age difference was never a problem. We had great conversations and formed friendships that still continue today. For us, LCI Vancouver was not just a language school — it was a cultural experience and a memorable part of our lives. Fantastic experience: 還暦を迎えて二十代に出来なかったこと忘れ物を探しにこのスクールに留学しました。色々なスクールはありますが、年配の方でも英会話初心者の方でもレベルに合ったクラスに入れますし、意欲があればより難易度の高いクラスに入れることがお勧めポイントです。 先生もベテランで専門性実力の高い先生が多いのはこの学校の人気がある要因と思います。 アクティビティが毎放課後に用意され、金曜日は郊外アクティビティも色々と用意されています。 先生達はもちろんスタッフも明るく挨拶してくれて、日本人のボランティアスタッフのサポートもかなり助かりました。 日本では少し引き気味の気持ちになっていたのに明るく積極性ができたことはこの学校のみなさんのおかげです。 日本にはない素敵な環境、ボーダレスな雰囲気最高でした。 時間があるならばいつまでもこの学校に通いたかったと思います

Fantastic experience: ワーホリで4月にカナダに来て、2ヶ月間、LCIに通いました。私もみなさんと同じように口コミを見て、どこ学校が良いか悩んだ後にこの学校を選びました。初めはこの学校の口コミがすごく良すぎて、全部サクラなんじゃないか？と疑っていましたが、本当に良い学校でした！！学校のシステムやルールも良いですが、とにかく先生たちが優しくて面白くて、指導力もプロフェッショナルで素晴らしいです。文法よりもスピーキングを学びたい人に強くオススメします！

Fantastic experience: 我在 2024 年底成為這所語言學校的學生，當時選擇這裡是因為學校有來自不同國家的學生、自由且開放的學習環境，以及便利的地點（就在捷運站旁）。實際就學後，這些優點完全實現了！ 無論課堂內外，我們都使用英文互動，這不僅拉近了學生與老師之間的距離，也幫助我更快融入加拿大社會。友善的教職員與志工讓人能敞開心胸，很自然地交到來自世界各地的朋友。 我最喜歡的是每週五的活動（Friday Activity），可以和不同班級的同學交流，也能親近自然並提升英語會話能力。課堂有時也會與不同程度的學生互動，讓學習更有彈性、同學間的關係也更緊密。 課程結束後，我短暫休息後選擇回來當志工。因為這裡的環境比單純生活在加拿大更有助於練習英文，並且激發我持續學習的動力。 這段學生與志工的經歷，是我在加拿大最充實、最幸福的回憶之一。如果可以，真心推薦至少就讀 2–3 個月，能更完整提升語言能力，也有時間建立深厚的友誼。 I joined this school in late 2024 and had an amazing experience. The international student community, flexible learning style, and super convenient location made it a great choice. We always spoke English, in and out of class, which helped me improve quickly and connect with classmates and teachers. The staff and volunteers were incredibly friendly, making it easy to feel welcome and make friends from around the world. I especially loved the Friday Activities — a fun way to meet students from other classes, enjoy nature, and practice conversation. Sometimes we had mixed-level lessons, which made learning more interactive and diverse. After finishing my course, I even came back as a volunteer! The school’s environment helped me improve my English more than daily life alone. Studying here is one of my happiest memories in Canada. I highly recommend staying for at least 2–3 months to truly grow and enjoy the full experience.

Fantastic experience: During my year of study at LCILS, my English proficiency improved significantly, and I made many friends. I’ve grown in confidence from the initial apprehension I felt. I still remember the day I first walked into the classroom, nervous and unsure. But the warm welcome from my classmates, Winning the Student of the Month award filled me with immense joy and pride. It was a validation of my hard work, and I shared that moment of triumph with my friends, who had been with me every step of the way. We celebrated with a dinner, a place that became our favorite hangout during our time at LCILS. After graduation, I hope to enter my ideal university and continue to improve myself. Fantastic experience: LCI에서 25주간 (1월~7월) 어학연수 생활을 하였는데요. 인터넷이든, 다른 어학원을 다녀본 지인의 후기이든, 혹은 오고가다 보면서 느낀 바로는 LCI는 ‘영어를 너무 학교 공부처럼 배우고 싶지 않으신 분들, 친근한 분위기에서 영어 실력을 키우고 싶은 분들’께 최고의 학원일 것입니다! 1. 접근성 & 시설 - 스카이 트레인 역 앞 도보 3분 내에 학원이 있어요 (다운타운은 아니지만 오히려 복잡한 곳이 아니라 좋았습니다) / 시설도 컬리지랑 같이 써서 관리가 매우 잘 되고 엄청 컸어요 (새 건물이 지어졌다고 들어서 시설은 아마 밴쿠버 내 어학원 중에 최고이지 않을까 합니다) 2. 액티비티 - lci의 특징으로 손꼽히는게 바로 액티비티인데, 다른 반 친구들도 많이 사귈 수 있어서 학원의 친근한 분위기의 근간이 되었던 것 같아요. 3. 선생님 - 쉬는시간에 친구들이랑만 노는게 아니라 선생님들과 같이 대화하고, 밥도 같이 먹고 어쩔 때는 밖에서 행아웃 할 정도로 굉장히 유쾌하고 친절하신 선생님들이 많았어요. 수업도 선생님들마다 스타일이 다른데 거의 다 만족스러웠습니다.

Fantastic experience: I had good time with teachers and classmates here. I appreciated teachers and staff who tried their best to support students’ learning and life experiences. I liked games and activities in classes. Those helped me practice speaking English and become more confident. My teachers were attentive to me and my classmates when we practiced speaking and discussing in English. They helped rectify our sentences in thoughtful ways. Therefore, I could learn from mistakes without feeling embarrassed. Additionally, I enjoyed Friday activities and cherished the relationship among teachers, classmates, and me. It was fantastic that I could have classmates and teachers as my friends, not only learning English in classrooms, but also using the language in real life contexts. I would like to bring some of my other friends here if it is possible!

Fantastic experience: Bereits in den Jahren 2015 und 2016 konnten wir – meine Frau und ich – den Vorgänger dieser Sprachschule für jeweils zwei Wochen besuchen. Damals befand sich die Schule noch im Zentrum von Vancouver in Yaletown und war unter dem Namen CSLI bekannt. Nun konnten wir im Rahmen eines Sabbaticals den Nachfolger LCI für ganze sechs Wochen besuchen. LCI ist Bestandteil des LaSalle Colleges, befindet sich in East Vancouver in unmittelbarerer Nähe zur Renfrew Skytrain Station und ist somit leicht zu erreichen. Im kommenden Jahr zieht man ein paar Meter weiter in einen komplett neuen Komplex. Dort bezieht man eine komplette eigene Etage und auch eine eigene Dachterrasse steht dann zur Verfügung. Das wird sicher keine Verschlechterung darstellen, da der jetzige Bereich der Schule komplett im Inneren des Gebäudes liegt – dementsprechend verfügen die Klassenzimmer über keinerlei Fenster und keine direkte Frischluftzufuhr. Ich persönlich hatte damit anfänglich tatsächlich auch etwas zu kämpfen. Ansonsten haben wir uns aber sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt, zumal wir bei den Lehrern auch auf ein paar bekannte Gesichter trafen. Der Unterricht an sich wurde durch die jeweiligen Lehrer interessant und abwechslungsreich, u. a. mit spielerischen Elementen gestaltet. Einmal pro Woche findet dann auch eine kurze schriftliche Evaluation statt, in der man Lehrer und Unterricht beurteilen und auch Verbesserungs- und auch Änderungswünsche äußern kann. Fakt ist: wer wirklich gewillt ist, sein Englisch zu verbessern, der ist hier an der richtigen Stelle. Freitags findet kein regulärer Unterricht statt. Stattdessen werden diverse Freizeitaktivitäten angeboten, z. B. Wandern, Kochen oder der gemeinsame Besuch von Sportveranstaltungen. Auch die Crew vom Frontdesk ist supernett und steht mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Egal ob es einfach nur um eine Empfehlung für ein Restaurant oder tatsächlich ein Problem/Anliegen bezüglich der Schule oder Unterricht geht – man trifft auf offene Ohren und es wird immer versucht, einem zu helfen und eine Lösung zu finden. Auch hier ist man für Feedback und Vorschläge jeglicher Art sehr dankbar. Am meisten beeindruckt hat uns die Möglichkeit, mit Menschen aus der ganzen Welt in Kontakt zu kommen. Es ist unheimlich interessant sich mit diesen über deren Länder und Kulturen auszutauschen. So konnten wir viele Kontakte knüpfen und hoffen sehr darauf, den einen oder anderen mal wieder zu treffen – egal ob in Vancouver oder gar in deren Heimatländern. In Summe können wir die Schule absolut empfehlen. Und wer weiß, vielleicht kehren wir ja sogar eines Tages für einen vierten Aufenthalt zurück.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been at this school for two months. Although two months wasn’t a perfect amount of time to improve my English completely, it was enough to make friends from all over the world—Japan, Taiwan, Mexico, Brazil, Germany, and more. I think this experience will be very helpful during my stay in Canada. Additionally, I feel that my speaking skills have improved a lot, thanks to the teachers who explained things kindly, even though it was a short period of time. I enjoyed participating in various Friday activities, which allowed me to choose according to my interests. This has been a special experience, and I would love to visit again if I have the chance.

Fantastic experience: 워홀 와서 일하기 전에 스피킹 연습이 필요할 것 같아서 등록한 학원인데, 다니는 2개월동안 만족스러웠습니다. 한국, 일본, 대만 뿐만 아니라 라틴 아메리카, 유럽에서 온 친구들도 있어서 다양한 국적의 외국인 친구들을 사귈 수 있고, 무엇보다 선생님들이 친절하시고 재밌게 잘 알려주셔서 좋았어요. 매주 금요일에 하는 액티비티도 실내게임장, 베이킹, 하이킹, 스포츠경기 관람 등 꽤 다양해서 원하는 활동 고를 수 있고요. 중소형 규모라 레벨이 상대적으로 세분화되있지는 않고, 클래스가 엄청 많진 않지만 그래서 오히려 저한테는 같은 클래스 아닌 친구들과도 얘기하고 친해질 수 있는 기회가 많다고 느껴져서 좋았어요. 한국인 스탭 분도 계셔서 학원에 물어보거나 건의해야될 부분 있을 때 소통하기도 편했습니다. 저는 유학원 통해서 등록하긴 했는데 직접 상담해보시고 등록하는 것도 좋을 것 같습니다. 엄청 친절하세요!! 지금 새로운 건물로 이사가려고 옆에서 짓고 있는데 그 건물에서 수업 들으면 더더더 좋을 것 같아요. 나중에 기회되면 또 다니고 싶습니다. 덕분에 좋은 경험하고 갑니다☺️ I registered this school because I thought I needed speaking practice before I worked, and I was so satisfied with the two months I attended. I had friends from Latin America and Europe as well as Korea, Japan, and Taiwan, so I could make foreign friends of various nationalities, and above all, it was good that the teachers were very kind and fun. Activities held every Friday are also quite diverse, such as indoor game, baking, hiking, and watching sports games, so you can choose the activities you want. It's small and medium-sized, so the level is relatively not subdivided, and there are not many classes, but it was rather good that I felt that I had a lot of opportunities to talk and get close to friends who are not in the same class. They have a plan to move to a new bulilding next to the current building and I think it would be better to take classes in that building. I want to go there again if I have a chance later. Thanks to LCI, I had a good experience.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been at this school for six months, I’ve had so many experiences. I enjoyed the variety of teaching methods and activities without ever feeling bored, and I can feel that my English has improved compared to before I came to this school. The friendly teachers and staff are always patient, even when I can’t speak English perfectly, and they help me to speak in better. Fantastic experience: Eu tive uma experiência fantástica nessa escola durante as 3 semanas que estudei. Todo time de professores foi fantástico - Damian, Heather e Justin.. todo staff é muito prestativo e simpático. A maioria dos estudantes é de origem asiatica (japão, coreia do sul, china, taiwan..). Foi fenomenal melhorar o meu inglês enquanto conhecia sobre uma cultura totalmente diferente da minha. A escola oferece excelente estrutura.. café e chá a vontade e grátis.. foosball. Material didático vai variando entre vídeos, digital e o papel.. muitas atividades e discussões em grupo, trios, pares. Escola conta ainda com atividades pós horário para estimular a convivência dos alunos. Na sexta a atividade envolve algo diferente como cozinhar, trilha, café, etc. Tive uma enriquecedora e divertida passagem por aqui. Espero retornar um dia. Recomendo muito.

Fantastic experience: ここLCI language school は全てにおいてハイスペックだと思っています。【多言語を話せる先生陣】授業はゲーム等を含みとても楽しいです。【とても親切なスタッフ】普段は英語ですが、緊急時は母国語で相談に乗ってくれます。【向上心の高い生徒】切磋琢磨しながら互いの能力を高めます。【確実に成長できるカリキュラム】インプットとアウトプットで常に実践出来る環境があります。【毎週楽しいアクティビティクラス】カヤックやクッキング等のクラスが沢山あります。どれも楽しくて選ぶのが大変です。【毎月卒業のBIGイベント】映画制作やスポーツ大会等、最高の思い出となるイベントがあります。とにかく何に関しても最高でした。私は他の語学学校の友達にlciの詳細を話しました。どの学校に通ってる友達も『語学学校にそんな楽しそうな所があるなんて聞いた事が無い』と口を揃えて言います。私の高校生の娘は１週間だけlciに通いました。その後、私に『また通いたい』と懇願し夏休みに追加で通いました。私達は自分達の経験を通してLCI language school をお勧めします！！ I think that LCI language school is high spec in all aspects.【The teachers are multilingual】The classes are fun and include games, etc. 【Very helpful staff】Usually in English, but in an emergency they will help you in your native language. 【Students with high aspirations】 Students improve each other's abilities through friendly competition. They have an environment where students can always practice their skills through input and output. They have a lot of classes such as kayaking, cooking and so on. It's hard to choose because they are all so much fun. Every month there is a BIG event for graduation, movie making, sports competitions, and other events that are the best and most memorable. Anyway, it was the best about everything. I told my friends from other language schools about lci. They all said, "I have never heard of such a fun place in a language school”. My high school daughter attended lci for one week. After that, she begged me to go back and she went back for an additional summer vacation. We would recommend LCI language school through our own experience!

Fantastic experience: ¡He estado un mes y mi experiencia en LCI ha sido maravillosa! Desde el primer momento que entré, todo el mundo me trató genial. Mis primeras clases fueron con Hassier y Damián. Ambos profesores han sido increíbles, clases súper divertidas y dinámicas. He aprendido mucho y he mejorado mucho mi inglés. Después tuve clase con Devon y también fue muy guay. Las personas que están en recepción y los voluntarios son muy amables y siempre están pendientes de todo el mundo. Realmente he disfrutado mucho esta experiencia y espero volver muy pronto ☺️

Fantastic experience: 私は、LCIランゲージスクールに2ヶ月間通いました。2ヶ月間という短い間ではありましたが、授業やフライデーアクティビティを通し、たくさんの友達を作ることが出来ました。 授業では、英語を話す機会が多く取られているため、とても勉強になりました。 学校を卒業したことが凄く悲しくなるくらい楽しい学校生活でした。 ありがとうLCI！！！

Fantastic experience: LCI language school é uma escola de idioma para estrangeiros, situada em Vancouver, Canadá ao qual tive o prazer de frequentar. Possui um ambiente muito acolhedor aos novos estudantes, propondo um ensino integrado com atividades externas que além de possibilitar conhecer a cidade, contribui para o uso do idioma na vida real. É uma ótima opção para intercâmbios ou para acelerar o conhecimento em inglês. Recomendo.

Fantastic experience: I’m Taiyo Nakamura, from Japan. I studied English in this school from Sep 11th, 2023 to Aug 9th, 2024. While I stayed in Canada, so many things happened. Unexpectedly, incredibly happy things and sad things, lots lots of things. I came here all alone and felt lonely at the beginning. I was often so weak and felt so difficult, But all the teachers were so kind, sincere, and heartwarming from the bottom of their hearts. Also, I was able to meet such incredibly wonderful friends, from Peru. I had never met such wonderful and lovely people in my entire life. I feel that I’m friends with them for the rest of my life. I’m full of gratitude beyond words. Before I met them, I used to listen to my favorite song called “We Are the World” Michael Jackson’s solo version, every time I took a shower in my homestay. And I never gave up on my faith. I feel that I’ve grown a lot in a year. There were also so many difficulties too, but now I feel like I can do anything in my life and am proud of myself. I found myself. I love myself so much. So, if you’re thinking about going to study abroad for a Long time, you’ve got to have bravery and be strong. A long time of studying abroad definitely makes you struggle and have to face yourself at some point. I think that’s why, a long-term study abroad experience makes you lots of effort, but also Definitely it makes you grow and proud of yourself and find yourself and love yourself. Also, I’ve heard that some long-term students get bored of school. I also almost got bored the last few months. But every week new students come to school, so I kept my motivation by keeping going to meet new people. I love this school so much. This school was the best ever in my entire life.
