Fantastic experience: I had the time of my life studying French at MIILA! I wanted to take a month to experience Montreal and get back into speaking French and I’m so glad I chose MIILA as the school to do so with. My teacher, Nour, was exceptional and the daily curriculum and exercises were great for getting immersed quickly and building comprehension. On top of that, she went above and beyond to provide context and alternatives to some vocabulary words you will encounter in Quebec vs. France. Besides the great program and teacher, I also had the opportunity to make some new friends. The environment of MIILA is very safe and welcoming, so even when I was nervous to speak French everyone was so open to practicing at all levels. MIILA was the highlight of a month spent in Montreal and I am already planning when I can come back for another experience. Merci beaucoup MIILA

Negative experience: If I could give 0 stars I would. Horrible experience and horrible school with no professionalism. If you can avoid it then save yourself the trouble and go learn somewhere else. Waste of time and money.

Fantastic experience: Great expérience. Everyone is invested in your learning. Energetic and friendly atmosphère. I did not want to leave. I hope to return in the future. Excellent location. Very close to the metro, restaurants and shopping. MIILA has set my standard for future French learning. There are students there with all levels of French. The more advanced students seem to have been there awhile. So MIILA can give new short term students like myself a good experience and I believe continue to provide a positive learning environment for long term learners also. Merci beaucoup MIILA!

Negative experience: I didn't like the method...they gave us a booklet to complete and that was all...no dialogues or converting. The teacher was a good teacher but he was obliged by the school to use that method...it didn't help me at all....

However, we are quite surprised by your mention of a "booklet to fill out." We do not use books to fill out and, since two years now, we have not provided students with an editorial book. Our methodology is based on conversation and the effective use of the language. In class, students are constantly using the language without physical books, photocopies or workshops to fill out.
Additionally, there is no student's name mentioned in your comment, and we have no record of your company as a client.

Fantastic experience: I came here only for three months and I'm almost in the 6th now haha. Incredible atmosphere, teachers, and staff in general. Everyone is friendly, polite, and every different teacher is even better than the old one. BONUS TRACK: Free coffee, microwaves for your food, and space available for you if you want to study after class. 10/10 :)

Fantastic experience: i did an intensive french course at miila. i knew french more or less before, but i was always scared to speak, classes here helped me a lot to be able to use my abilities, not just study the grammar :)) i only did 2 weeks but i'd love to come back next time i'm in montreal !! the teachers are very friendly and helpful. the atmosphere is very welcoming and everyone is nice to one another, 100% reccomend

Fantastic experience: Miila is a small school in Montreal, not a huge building but it certainly covers everything you as student may need. I'm currently learning French and the classes are well structured. The teacher is a native French (canadian) speaker. School is always clean and the class is practical and guided, with a fresh teaching perspective far away from only filling a book. You can find a cafeteria that sells some products, some fridges were you can store your meals, coffee machines, microwaves and so on. I go to 6pm classes as I work on a full time job and have not many options. I can say I enjoy and wait anxiously to go to class and learn. Thank you so very much!
