Fantastic experience: I’ve had such a great experience at French Language Solutions over the past 3 months & want to thank my teacher Blandine for all her help! As someone who was looking to refresh on French after not practicing for years, the pace and the content was perfect. There was ample time to practice real life conversations in French with classmates which is so helpful. Looking forward to starting classes again in the future!

Negative experience: Bad experience with them, I don’t see like this response to me Amazing, i only absent two times and everyone during 3 months will have some personal reasons. So, you need to have good experience how to answer the student and the customers if you need to keep them. 2-3 students left class during this time and they didn’t finish there classes with you. Anyway, we are in Canada and we need to give you our experience with you. Even your response is disrespectful and fake information… unfortunately, very bad experience. You only signed ppl for 3 months contract and take the money for 4 next classes The management they need to work on your response ans services. I’m not gonna waste my money and time with you again. Fantastic experience: Grâce à FLS et Lea, I passed my TCF with high scores after studying 100% online. I needed to balance my time in learning French, working and fulfilling my personal obligations but so far the experience with this school is totally worth it and they offer flexible arrangements and support for online students like me.

Fantastic experience: My partner and I took lessons for a move to France and were taught by Aysha. Starting from beginner, Aysha was patient and determined to help us learn as much as we could in a 3 month span to get us prepped for our move. 2 weeks into our move and the lessons have proved valuable, utilizing on a daily basis what Aysha was able to teach us in a short time. Overall, the experience was great with FLS and Aysha and I would recommend this to anyone from beginner to fluent who wishes to learn and practice more.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience with Stanislas and Margaux in preparing for the TCF Canada. The classes are highly structured and ensure you practice all four language skills each time. The two tutors were both very patient and fun to learn with, and extremely knowledgeable about the test itself. I was able to pass the TCF in my first try thanks to my classes with them. I highly recommend FLS and these two tutors — it is clear that they love teaching!

Fantastic experience: I started classes at French Language Solutions back in 2025 and just recently was successfully able to achieve a B2 in the TCF exam. A huge thank you to my teacher Stanislas who helped me achieve this as I had been struggling prior to beginning my classes with him. His guidance and encouragement was what pushed me and I would highly recommend his classes!

Fantastic experience: I am really thankful that I found FLS to continue my journey of learning French. It was exactly what I needed to keep learning and gain more confidence in speaking the language. As a full-time employee and mom, it was really important for me to have the option to take classes outside of regular working hours and still be productive without committing to too many hours per week. Their option of two classes per week is perfect for me. My professor always ensures that I have enough practice and takes the time to listen and give advice whenever I need help improving my pronunciation. Positive experience: I participated in the group French classes (held twice a week) and I will say I had a great time! The pricing and timing of the courses were very great, in comparison to the other language institutions available -the breakdown for the scheduling I had was the cheapest as opposed to what other schools were proposing. Likewise, the timing was very convenient and flexible (I took virtual classes, which were easy to join regardless of where you are). I began the course as a beginner with very limited skills, and over the span of 1.5 years, I progressed to a A1-B2 level. The material is introduced at a good pace, everything is explained very well (ever question I brought up was addressed in a way that instantly cleared up my confusion). The formatting of the class was the perfect blend of being challenging but also not too scary/intimidating (I'm trying to lean away from the word "informal" but the vibe of the course was very chill -unless it was time for assessments, then it was a bit nerve-wracking as the student haha!) I had Melanie as my instructor and she was LOVELY! Super cheerful, super flexible, and very informative! I have to accredit a lot of my success to her! She was very open-minded and would incorporate new things if she could see the engagement and response was good. She would always keep in mind our goals with learning French, and would encourage us to get there in any means she could provide. This level of consideration and flexibility made her a GEM and a solid instructor!! Their admin team are very quick with their correspondence, so if you need to switch a class or sort out issues of access, you'll get a response within a day. The only thing I would like to mention: the format of this course is best suited for those who are VERY passionate and have the time to practice outside of class. The timing, although very convenient, can also be interpreted as "short". As a result, you will have to be realistic with your learning goals if you proceed with this institution (ie. if you really want to become fluent, you will have to practice outside of the institution -or accept that your language acquisition may be slow). I Regardless, I would HIGHLY recommend this institution to beginners who might be nervous (as the atmosphere is very chill, the break-down of everything is very easy to follow) OR for individuals with a good grasp of the language and want to fine-tune their skill (nuance aspects of the language are perfectly explained by their instructors and the lesson plans help prepare you for real-life French). All the pros truly out-weight the minor cons, so give them a try if you're interested :-)

Fantastic experience: French Language Solutions has been an essential part of my French journey, and I’m genuinely grateful for the support I received, especially from my teachers, Léa and Corinne. Thanks to their guidance, structure, and constant encouragement, I was able to reach NCLC 8. Léa and Corinne each brought something unique to my learning: clear explanations, targeted feedback, and the kind of practical coaching that helped me build both confidence and accuracy. I took private classes, and that made a huge difference for me. The lessons were tailored to my exact level, goals, and weak points, which really accelerated my progress. Learning French with FLS made my path towards Canadian PR much easier, and I truly appreciate how supported and prepared I felt throughout the process. I also really enjoyed everything outside of class that French Language Solutions provides. The newsletters were a great way to keep learning between sessions, and following the FLS Instagram helped me stay consistently exposed to the language in a light, everyday way. If you're serious about improving your French - French Language Solutions is absolutely worth it. I'm thankful to Léa and Corinne and the whole FLS team for their patience, professionalism, and genuine investment in my success.

Teacher Anne was very patient and very knowledgeable and always knew how to encourage me. I love the class environment that they were so supportive, engaging, and patience. French grammars are so difficult to understand but they were able to break down into parts that are easy to understand and actually remember. I greatly appreciate that FLS team offers "cultural events" either online or in-person to engage with other students and teachers, AND provides extra resources such as the weekly "Les Défis", these have been so much fun and enhanced the learning experience! Fantastic experience: I took individual French classes with Corinne through French Language Solutions (FLS) between October and mid-November 2025. I had studied French in high school and university, but after a six-year gap, I needed to quickly revive my French in preparation for the TCF exam. I needed to start classes as soon as possible, and FLS was able to accommodate my schedule and begin lessons the very next day, which I really appreciated. Corinne was my instructor, and she is an experienced TCF examiner. She clearly explained the exam structure and requirements, and we immediately started targeted preparation. Each session focused on different sections of the exam, with particular emphasis on writing, which is the most challenging part. Corinne tailored her teaching to my individual needs, provided very practical strategies, and gave detailed feedback that helped me improve efficiently. I completed 21 individual sessions with her and, on my first attempt, achieved B2 in listening, reading, and speaking, and was only two points short of B2 in writing. In our final session, we practiced writing and speaking under real exam conditions, which was incredibly helpful and gave me more confidence on exam day. The TCF can be stressful, but Corinne consistently provided useful homework, clear guidance, and reassurance throughout the process. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for hands-on TCF preparation with a knowledgeable and supportive instructor. I also appreciated the weekly French learning resources shared through the FLS newsletter—thank you!

Fantastic experience: I've been taking lessons with FLS for about a year now and I can't recommend the school enough. I had the unique circumstances of formerly being bilingual when I was young and losing it over the years, so I had a random ability set to deal that was full of challenging holes in my knowledge. Both teachers I had (Shoutout to the amazing Lea and Emeline!) helped me to refine what I knew and push me to get back to conversational French at a rapid pace, and having stress tested my learning with two weeks in various regions of France I can attest to the real world application of what FLS teaches.

Fantastic experience: I've been taking classes with Blandine for over a year now and cannot recommend her and FLS enough! I've had an amazing experience here. She and the entire FLS team work hard to foster an engaging and motivating environment. I really appreciate the school's newsletter and and workshops which really help to both supplement learning and to keep you interested/engaged. It's so easy to hit roadblocks and feel disenchanted when trying to learn a language, especially as an adult when you have competing responsibilities. Blandine excels at creating a supportive and encouraging space and at adapting the pace and structure of the class to meet her student. From the very first class, her patience, friendly demeanour and ability to meet her student at their lever were apparent and very much appreciated. FLS is an amazing school for anyone looking to learn French in Toronto and I would highly recommend to anyone interested.

Fantastic experience: I was able to reach B1 in a matter of 7 months thanks to the dedication of the teachers. Anne and Sylvie were excellent teachers who went above and beyond to better my understanding. Would highly recommend FLS for anyone aiming to improve their skills in the language. The classes are well structured and the teachers are very welcoming to different types of questions. There is also a lot of flexibility with schedules as the school offers evening classes and weekend classes at many different hours. This is especially helpful for working individuals.

Fantastic experience: I really enjoyed my time with French Language Solutions. The small online classes, usually just 4 of us, felt very personal and effective. But honestly, my teacher Mélanie was the highlight. She is a fantastic teacher who really understands how to balance immersion with clarity. She pushes us to stay in French, but whenever we hit a wall, she was able to break things down perfectly in English so we actually understood the nuance. It made a huge difference in my confidence. Negative experience: *에바에요 여기 updated reply* You claimed that I was deliberately misassigned, but the situation doesn’t add up. During the initial placement, only my speaking was evaluated—grammar and writing were assessed later. You nick picked my grammer, writing skills, but the timeline does not align because *The school could not have known my grammar and writing skills at the time of placement.* Therefore, if this had truly been intentional, why was the coordinator surprised when I was told I started at Level 4? And why wasn’t I informed beforehand that I should be placed in Level 4 instead of Level 6? Claiming it was intentional just because the situation escalated doesn’t make sense. It really doesn’t add up.Then, from now, are you guys will say that oh yes! We evaluated only your speaking, so we put lvl4? but why 4? What was the point of paid level consulting? but Also, that can be the prove that my speaking is not mid A1so overall lvl can't be mid A1 either. You guys are framing it as a “deliberate placement” to avoid taking responsibility. Also, I did raise my voice during the call. But it was a completely justified reaction. You guys placed me in the wrong class from the beginning, and the coordinator didn’t even understand. The truth is the opposite. The rude and unprofessional behavior came from your side: you started nitpicking before even placing me into the new class, and you ultimately terminated my contract overnight In conclusion, if you had just acknowledged your mistake and apologized from the beginning, neither of us would have had to waste this much time and emotional energy. --------------------------------------------- I do not reccomend here Before registering, I paid $15 for a level consultation and was told that I would be placed in A1.6. However, after three weeks, I discovered that I had actually been placed in A1.4. When I requested a level change, my current teacher evaluated me and confirmed that my writing and grammar are at mid-A1, but my overall maximum level is A1.8, so I was moved up accordingly. Because I lost three weeks of time and money due to the school’s incorrect placement, I requested credits as compensation. On top of that, none of the class times for my new level fit my work schedule. However, the director told me that because my grammar and writing were “mid-A1,” they believed they had placed me in the correct class from the beginning—an explanation that makes no sense, since my overall maximum level is A1.8, which proves that they misassigned me in the first place. Despite this, they refused to acknowledge their mistake and even told me they “cannot apologize.” The school refuses to acknowledge what they did, refuses to apologize, and refuses to offer any form of compensation.Extremely disappointing and unprofessional. 레벨 컨설팅 받아서 반 배정받았는데 계속 지켜보다가 좀 쉬운것같아서 올려달라니까 저보고 일단 선생님께 물어보고 올라갈 수 있으면 올려줄게 이러더니 현재 A1.5 클래스는 그냥 듣고 있어 이러는거에요 그래서 저는 처음부터 반 배정으로 A1.6 로 받았었는데 이게 뭐냐고 항의하니까 그제서야 반 배정 A1.8로 다시 해줬는데.. 그냥 2주 차이 라고 표현하면서 크레딧 안준다고 말하더군요.. (실제로는 레벨 4에 넣어버려서 4-6레벨까지 4주 차이나는 레벨임) 미친 곳 이에요 여기 자기네들이 반 잘못배정해서 3주동안 2단계나 낮은 레벨 들었는데..그래서 직접 가서 얘기할라니까 자기네들 재택근무라고 만나지도 못함 그러고서는 이제는 행정적인 실수가 아니라 책임 회피하려고 원래부터 고의적인 반배정이였대요...

Fantastic experience: Truly could not have asked for a better language learning space! The administration is kind, very professional, and made the process seamless when I was trying to figure out what I had to learn. I was placed with a professor that was equally as kind and patient. Classes are structured well and the teacher would spend more time on topics that were harder to grasp. They also give you plenty of resources for you to use on your free time. I have told all my friends about FLS and will probably come back to keep on practicing my professional language or conversation.

Fantastic experience: I studied French for 10 months in a group class, from knowing nothing to being able to make some conversations and writings in given topics. The first classes until finished A1 were provided in English. I memorized vocabularies at home, and the 2-hours meetings per week were great opportunities for practising, with a native French-speaking teacher who is there to guide and do corrections. It was a good class for beginners.

When I first decided to seriously learn French, my goal was to achieve the B2 level (specifically CLB 7) for my immigration goals. It felt like a huge mountain to climb, but after just one year of classes, I passed my exam and achieved my goal! This would not have been possible without my incredible teacher, Léa. Léa is, without a doubt, an amazing educator. From day one, she created a classroom environment that was supportive, engaging, and incredibly effective. Her patience is unmatched, and she has a real talent for breaking down the most complicated French grammar (I'm looking at you, subjonctif!) into parts that are easy to understand and actually remember. What truly set her apart was her dedication to our speaking and comprehension. She didn't just teach from a textbook; she encouraged real conversation, patiently corrected our mistakes, and consistently pushed us to be better. She made learning fun, and I always looked forward to her classes. Thanks to Léa's guidance and the excellent structure at French Language Solutions, I went from struggling to confidently holding conversations and passing a difficult exam. Fantastic experience: I have been with FLS for a year now, and its been a wonderful experience learning French with Mélodie! I can confidently say I would not be where I am with my progress if not for her constant support and organized lessons and assignments. The lessons are very structured, and we cover all aspects of the language, from grammar, to new vocabulary, as well as listening and reading exercises. We do a lot of reading and writing exercises, which help me with comprehension, and implementing new vocabulary and grammar in the right contexts. She makes the language alive by sharing aspects of the French culture, and engaging with us in French constantly. Could not recommend her classes enough!! The team at FLS definitely understands the challenges that come with wanting to learn a new language, so they make it fun and engaging. FLS organizes weekly virtual challenges, and a newsletter that keep you engaged in learning even outside of class!

Fantastic experience: I've had an amazing experience learning French with FLS this year. My teacher Mélodie is very patient and friendly, and makes it fun to learn French. What I love most is when she also teaches us about French culture! She speaks about cultural norms there, food, festivals, and more. FLS is also very flexible with timings! Fantastic experience: Pendant les six derniers mois, j’ai eu le plaisir de suivre des cours avec mon professeur Pauline.Les cours sont toujours amusants et engageants.De plus j’adore que FLS propose toujours des exercices hebdomadaires pour m’aider dans mon apprentissage du français et de la culture française. Fantastic experience: I always wanted to learn French so I decided to take the plunge all by myself - reading french grammar books, Duo Lingo et al…. But nothing can replace a good French teacher with a 1-on-1 class and that is exactly what I found in Anne Roline at French Language Solutions!! She has been amazing and paces the course as per my needs. She is more than happy to provide tips and tricks that are not easy to find in books or apps. It has certainly become enjoyable learning French with her sans the stress!! Keep up the great work Anne!

Fantastic experience: My French learning journey with FLS has been great. All the teachers I've encountered over the last 10 months - Margaux, Mélanie, Morgane, Axel and Blandine - have been amazing. Special shoutout to Margaux, who has been supporting me from the beginning ! She is an incredible French teacher - she is very patient, encouraging, and knowledgeable. My classes with her were always engaging, with different types of activities that were tailored to my level and areas that I needed to improve. She always recommended me great content to further improve my French knowledge outside of classes. I cannot recommend taking classes with her enough, no matter what your level is. Also, there are plenty of opportunities offered by FLS where you can improve/practice your French language skills. For example, each month FLS offers "cultural events" either online or in-person, where you can even meet other students. Or the weekly challenges, "les défis", that dive into different topics - it's a great way to enrich your vocabulary and learn more about the francophone cultures.

Fantastic experience: Eloïse has been such a great teacher for me. She’s professional, friendly, and funny, and I’ve really come a long way under her guidance. My daughter will be starting lessons with her when she turns 3! I’ll definitely continue working with her and I recommend Eloïse for anyone new to French!

Fantastic experience: *I can't recommend more* the school and their service and professors. I have been taking 1:1 classes with Léa and Amandine (before she left the institute). Super professional and complete programs, highly tailored to the students needs and for all types of learning. I had previous (but very old) knowledge of french, and they managed to bring all that buried knowledge back to a great point to continue on, looking for a higher french level. I have already recommended this school to a couple of friends looking to up their french for Immigration purposes. They run a transparent communication with instructors and the person who schedules the classes. It is super easy to reschedule a class if needed. I didn't had to buy any books or anything, and Léa provided me with free resources were I could practice my listening and writing. Again, I can't recommend their service more.

They are very flexible with timing, you will be able to schedule class after work hours (5pm). Fantastic experience: It has been some time since my last review and I believe I should share some of my French learning journey. And to do so I can't help and go back to my childhood. Growing up with parents, grandmother, aunts, and few cousins' teachers education was an important part of my upbringing. I still remember their faces with joy, empathy, laughter, and so much enthusiasm talking about their students and the responsibility to teach them well. Very well organized, honest and professional, from the "customer care"\logistic, to the teacher's quality. They also offer several very interesting activities during the weeks, on top of your course, like insights into cuisine, travel and local traditions... unfortunately my weekly schedule was very busy these months and I did not attend any, but I loved to see them proposed. Fantastic experience: I’ve been taking French classes with French Language Solutions, and I can wholeheartedly say it’s been worth it, especially classes with Nathalie (but all the teachers are phenomenal!). The classes are structured, but Nathalie customizes the teaching style to fit each student’s learning needs. She’s so attentive and really focuses on making sure the material sticks. For years, I’ve wanted to improve my French. I even took it up to Grade 12 and went on an exchange trip, but I’ve always struggled with pronunciation. Reading and writing came naturally, but I was way too shy to speak because of how I sounded. Nathalie completely changed that for me. She creates a safe space where you can speak freely without feeling embarrassed. When she corrects your mistakes, she does it in a way that you’ll actually remember, and instead of feeling silly, you feel motivated to keep going. I’ve already seen so much improvement. Even after taking a break over the holidays, I was surprised by how much French I retained—something that’s never happened before! Nathalie is always super prepared, makes sure to review the previous material, and keeps the classes moving toward a bigger goal, like getting a DELF certification. Knowing I’m working toward something concrete like that feels so much better than just saying, “Oh yeah, I took some French classes back in the day.” On top of the language itself, I’ve learned so much about Quebec culture and even some fun local expressions that make it all feel more relatable and practical. If you’re serious about learning French—not just to say you did it, but to actually speak and have real conversations—I can’t recommend French Language Solutions enough. Nathalie has made what used to feel impossible actually achievable, and I can’t wait to keep going!!!!!
